Hello Oracle Community,
With Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Global Trade Management (GTM) now supporting JSON-based REST integrations, we are evaluating the best integration approach for future implementations and would appreciate guidance from the community and Oracle product experts.
Current Observations

  • Oracle's standard integration recipes (for example, Sales Order to OTM/GTM) continue to leverage the OTM Logistics Adapter, which primarily uses XML transmissions.
  • XML transmissions appear to support operations such as merge/upsert, allowing a single transmission to create or update records based on business keys.
