Default Movement Member creates an error during routine maintenance

We have a default movement member (Mvmts_Unallocated) that is a level 0 member of FCCS_Mvmts_Subtotal. This member has the property IsDefaultMovement set to Yes. And is assigned as the default movement to approximately 50 accounts. When we perform routine maintenance on the Movement Dimension we consistently get these two error messages:

Unable to load the following resource: A Default Movement must be a descendant of "FCCS_Mvmts_Subtotal". Invalid member; Mvmts_Unallocated.
