Hi Team,

We Request for Oracle Guidance on 19c Database Patching with Primary/DR Data Guard Environment

We are using Oracle Database 19c in OCI Base Database Service. Our current database version is 19.28, and we are planning to apply the latest available 19c Release Update.

This will be our first database patching activity in this environment.

Could you please provide guidance on the following:

==>Manual patching support

Is it supported to manually apply the database patches on both the Primary and DR/Standby databases separately?
If manual patching is supported, please provide the recommended procedure and sequence.

==>DBCLI-based patching

Please provide the recommended sequence of activities for both the DR and Primary environments.
