How to control Inactive Item to be added in Price List

We have a business requirement from our client to control the addition of items to Price Lists based on the item status defined in Product Information Management.

For example, if an item is assigned an Inactive status in Item Master, the system should prevent users from adding that item to a Price List.

Could anyone please confirm whether there is any out-of-the-box functionality or configuration available in Oracle Fusion Pricing to enforce this validation? If not, we would appreciate guidance on any recommended customization approach to achieve this requirement.
