Unable to Retrieve Position Job Band DFF in VBCS Requisition page

we are implementing a field modification auto completion rule in VBCS for the ORC Requisition Page to display the job band associated with the position when creating a requisition from a position. However, the position job band DFF attribute is returning NULL in VBCS, and we are unable to retrieve the value. Could anyone please advise if there is a specific way to access the position related attributes in VBCS requisition page?
