Alerts - Automated backups - DBCS

Hi Team,

We have configured OCI Events Service to send email notifications for database backup status using the following event rule:

  • Rule Name: BkpNotifyRule
  • Description: Notification for database failed backups
  • Service Name: Database
  • Event Type: Database – Automatic Backup End

Currently, we receive email notifications only for the scheduled nightly incremental backups. However, our database is also configured with frequent archivelog backups (hourly), and we are not receiving any notifications for those archivelog backup jobs.

Could you please help clarify the following:

  1. Does the"Database – Automatic Backup End" event include only automatic incremental/full backups, or should it also generate events for archivelog backups?
