Application Composer Groovy Trigger Does Not Fire for Project Name Update from Project Overview UI

Summary:

We have a business requirement to trigger a custom OIC integration on real-time basis whenever the Project Name is updated on a Project in Project Financial Management.

We implemented an Application Composer object trigger on the standard Project object (Server Scripts > Triggers) to detect the change and invoke our OIC integration. This works correctly when the Project Name is updated via the REST API.

However, the same trigger does not fire when the Project Name is updated from the Project Overview UI in the application.

1. Is there a supported alternative (e.g., a Business Event, PPM-specific event subscription, or other mechanism) to reliably detect a Project Name update performed through the Project Overview UI in real time?
