How we can update the Mass Additions line interfaced from AP to FA via FBDI

Hi,

We have a requirement wherein the users want to update the mass lines interfaced from AP to FA via create mass additions through FBDI. They don't want to leverage adfdi rather they want to use FBDI for updating the data points and then eventually change the queue to POST.

I tried using Addition identifier as Interface Line Number (Column A) in FBDI to check whether it will update the existing line. However, it didn't, rather it created a new line.

So, can anyone confirm the way out for this
