Default Currency Decimal

Summary:

After creating an application, the system automatically populates all ISO-standard currency codes along with their respective decimal places. Previously, we observed that all currency codes were configured with 2 decimal places. However, we have recently noticed that some currency codes are now configured with 0 or 1 decimal place.

As a result, the system is rounding off the values, which is causing data mismatches.

I understand that the decimal places can be manually updated. However, we would like to understand why different decimal places are now being assigned to certain currency codes and whether this is a recent change in the system ?
