What are the best practices for scheduling Update Project Performance Data?

Summary:

UCD is having issues with the data in Essbase. Suddenly project budget that appear in Review Project Performance are duplicate and, in some case, triplicated. Also is resetting a budget to zero a good practice? The process Review Project Performance with option incremental is scheduled to run every day at 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. It is also submitted by the budget baselining process for the project being updated.

I did a reconciliation of the data in the Essbase on 08/30/26 and out of 36K there were only 21 active projects that had difference in the budget when comparing the budget that appears in PPM and the budget in Review Project Performance. There were 3 discrepancies in total costs and none with Committed Costs. I corrected these discrepancies running Update Project Performance with option Delete and Resummarize. I just did a new reconciliation and now there are over 4K active projects that have a discrepancy. There were no discrepancies with costs and committed costs.
