DraftPO REST API recalculates price when reducing quantity but the price retains in Oracle UI

Summary:

I am using Oracle Visual Builder Add-in for Excel with the Draft Purchase Orders REST API to bulk-reduce quantities on open purchase orders. Although the Oracle Purchasing UI retains the existing approved price when quantity is reduced, the REST API automatically recalculates the price for agreement-sourced Rate Based Services lines, even when the request contains only Quantity. How can the UI’s price-preserving behavior be reproduced through a supported public REST API for bulk updates?
