High Token Consumption in Oracle ATLAS Codex CLI Testing

Hi Team,

We are currently using the Oracle ATLAS Codex CLI to test our Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio workflow agents.

During testing, we observed significantly high token consumption. For example, two test cases consumed approximately 248K tokens. We also noticed that scenarios involving Human Approval Nodes can consume a substantial percentage of the overall tokens.

We would like to understand:

  1. What factors contribute most to token consumption in ATLAS Codex CLI—such as prompts, Business Object/tool responses, traces, evaluation context, or Human Approval interactions?
  2. Is there a recommended way to reduce token consumption while maintaining reliable workflow testing
