Site Derivation in accounting for IC Revenue and AR Invoices Based on Contract organization

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to derive the Site segment in accounting based on the Contract Organization. Our Contract Organization structure is designed such that each site within a Business Unit is represented by a separate Contract Organization.

For example, the US Business Unit has multiple sites, and therefore multiple Contract Organizations are defined, with each organization representing a specific site.

The challenge arises with Intercompany (IC) contracts. We have a single intercompany contract with only one organization associated with it. As a result, during IC Revenue generation in PPM and IC Invoice generation in AR, the accounting derives an incorrect Site value, since the transaction cannot accurately identify the originating site.
