How to Automatically Backflush Lot-Controlled Assembly Pull Components During OSP Receipt Completion

Summary:

We have an Outside Processing work order where the supplier operation is the final operation.

After the OSP purchase order receipt is delivered to Manufacturing, the supplier operation doesn't complete automatically and the work order remains incomplete. The finished good isn't lot or serial controlled.

The work order includes lot-controlled components with the Assembly Pull supply type. These components aren't automatically backflushed during the OSP receipt-triggered completion. We set the plant parameter Lot Selection During Backflush to Lot FIFO and recreated the work order, but the work order still didn't complete automatically.

If we manually report the material issue/backflush for the lot-controlled Assembly Pull component and specify the lot, the work order then completes successfully.
