Remote PDB Clone - Base database service - 19c

Hi Team,

Current Setup:

  • Production: 1 CDB with 1 PDB
  • Development: 1 CDB with 2 existing PDBs (DEVDB and UATDB)
  • Source and target databases are in different subnets.

We want to clone PROD PDB to DEVDB to have latest data from PROD.

Based on our understanding, Remote PDB Clone appears to be the appropriate approach. Before proceeding, we'd like to understand the required prerequisite steps on both the source and target environments. Can you please detail.
