Gross-Up Withholding Tax
Example:
You receive an invoice from a supplier (e.g., $1,000).

Withholding Tax (WHT) must be applied (say 10%).

But instead of deducting $100 from the supplier’s payment:

You want to pay the full $1,000 to the supplier.

You also want to pay the $100 WHT separately to the tax authority.

Total cash outflow = $1,100, not just $1,000.

This is called Grossing Up Withholding Tax, where your company bears the tax cost on behalf of the supplier.
