How to Handle Redo Gaps/Apply Lag and Standby Backups in DBCS Data Guard

Hi Team,

We have an Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS) environment with Data Guard configured between the primary and standby databases.

In our previous on-premises environment, whenever there was a significant redo/apply lag or a redo gap that could not be resolved through normal redo transport, we used to take an RMAN incremental backup from the primary and apply it to the standby to bring the standby back in sync.

We have not encountered this situation in our current DBCS environment yet, but we would like to understand the recommended Oracle approach for handling such scenarios in DBCS.

Could you please provide guidance on the following?
