Checkbox formatting issue in Word doclet vs published PDF (Narrative Reporting)

Hi all,

I am facing a formatting issue in Narrative Reporting between a Word doclet and the published PDF. In Word the checkbox looks fine, but in the PDF it does not render the same way.

The main problem: the unchecked box displays correctly in the PDF, but once the box is checked, the PDF shows the letter "R" instead of a checked box.

I have tried different approaches using Unicode glyphs and Wingdings characters but nothing seems to render correctly in the PDF.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? How did you work around it?

Note: Smartview version used for the Word doc was 26.100
