addition of impairment accounts to existing asset categories

Hi, We need to update/add the impairment expense and impairment reserve account.

Impairment expense requires account and cost center to be updated.

for this scenario - we cannot use update fixed asset configuration sheet, because cost center cannot be updated. it only allows to populate the natural account. Is there any other method to do this? Would prefer navigation as well, if there is alternative method to update the impairment accounts.
