PeopleSoft Co-existence HDLi

in HCM Data Loader (HDL)

Summary:

We are currently using HDL Desktop Integrator (HDLI) for our PeopleSoft Co-existence integration with Oracle Fusion HCM. We recently received the Oracle notification below regarding the deprecation of password-based authentication for Fusion REST and SOAP services.

Oracle states that:

  • Password-based authentication for REST and SOAP services is being deprecated.
  • Customers must migrate to a supported token-based authentication method.
  • Integrations using username/password authentication may stop working after enforcement begins.
  • Migration must be completed before March 31, 2027.

Our current HDLI setup:

  • Tool: HDL Desktop Integrator (HDLI)
  • Protocol: SOAP
  • Authentication: Username / Password
  • Service: HCM Data Loader / UCM Upload

We are trying to determine whether this change will impact HDLI-based file uploads and PeopleSoft Co-existence processes.
