IPM Insight Prediction - at Quarter level for monthly calendar

Our Planning application is configured with a monthly calendar/period level. However, the historical data is not consistently available for every month—some months may have missing or incomplete data.

For prediction purposes, we are considering performing the forecast at the quarter level instead of the month level. Our idea is to aggregate the available monthly data into quarters, perform the prediction at the quarterly level, and then write the predicted value into the last month of each quarter (for example, March, June, September, and December).

Can IPM Insights perform prediction using quarterly aggregated data even though the application calendar is configured at the monthly level?
