OIC OFS trigger activation failure – “Failed to register event subscription: cannot denormalize”

Summary:

We encountered an activation issue with an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integration using the Oracle Field Service (OFS) adapter as a trigger.

The integration, failed to activate with the following error:

Failed to register event subscription! Cause: cannot denormalize

The trigger was configured for the Create event.

We attempted the following without success:

• Refreshed the OFS connection metadata.
• Reconfigured and saved the OFS trigger endpoint.
• Deleted the existing OFS event subscription.
• Retried activation.

FYI…This issue started recently and there was no new deployment done.
