OOTB Workforce Forecast calculation with closed Actuals in Forecast and having YTD thresholds
Summary:
For Forecast OOTB Workforce, the scenario is:
- Closed months should contain Actual payroll compensation.
- Open months should contain calculated Workforce Forecast.
- We also need closed-month Actual compensation history available because some Earnings, Benefits and Taxes use YTD / threshold / maximum calculations.
The challenge is with the OOTB Workforce placeholder accounts such as OWP_Earning1, OWP_Earning2, OWP_Earning3, etc.
The same business compensation component does not necessarily sit on the same OWP_EarningN member for every employee.
Example:
Emp1:
Bonus = OWP_Earning1
Car allownace = OWP_Earning2
Special Allowance = OWP_Earning3
Emp2:
Bonus= OWP_Earning1
Special Allowance = OWP_Earning2
So Special Allowance cannot simply be mapped globally to OWP_Earning3.
