Retire Legacy Content Provider Courses and Update Learning Paths

Introduction

When you move an external content provider from its legacy AICC connector to its xAPI connector, the replacement content is imported into Oracle Learning as self-paced learning. Existing legacy courses and their references in learning paths need separate attention.

This recipe takes you through configuring the replacement integration, stopping legacy imports, updating the Publish End Date of selected legacy courses, and replacing their references in learning paths, also known as specializations. The course update changes catalog publication dates. It does not set the course’s Effective End Date, delete the course, or transfer its learner history to the replacement item.
