Hi Team,

We have an on-premises application currently deployed with the following architecture:

  • One public IP address is NATed to an HAProxy server.
  • HAProxy routes traffic to two Nginx web servers.
  • The two Nginx web servers forward requests to two ORDS application servers.
  • ORDS connects to the backend database servers.(2 node rac)
  • The application is customer-facing and currently supports around 100 concurrent users.

Most of our applications have now been migrated to OCI/Fusion, and only one application remains on-premises. In our cloud environment, we have already removed the Nginx dependency and are running ORDS in standalone mode, and the performance has been good.
