26D Data Extract Feature Notes

Summary:

26D now supports user-defined queries in data extracts

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

User-defined queries (UDQ) are reusable query definitions that enable you to extract data based on criteria that you define. Use a user-defined query when the standard views do not meet your extract requirements, or you wish to extract data from multiple tables.

  • Customers can now transform legacy SQL queries such as those used in Oracle Analytics Publisher into Business Object Query Language (BQL) queries that run against the Read-Optimized Data Store. These user-defined queries can be run on demand in either synchronous or as part of an asynchronous extract definition.

Howdy, Stranger!
