Eloqua Product Notice: API changes for contact email tracking consent management [Nov 2026]

Overview

With the arrival of Eloqua 26D Release, (October/November 2026), Eloqua will be updating the Application API 2.0 and 1.0 endpoints for contacts enabling the ability to write and return the email tracking consent preferences. Clients will be able to opt-in and opt-out contacts for email open tracking and email clickthrough tracking from the contact record. We will also be introducing new processing steps that can be added to forms to set email tracking preferences.

What’s changing?

When Eloqua release 26D is enabled for your environment, the following changes will be made to the Application API:
