Approach to Copy the ownership to next year for alternate hierarchy without impacting the locked one

Summary:

We have a scenario where an alternate hierarchy is created under FCCS_Total Geography and the ownership update in needed from historical period Dec FY24. All our hierarchies are under FCCS_Total Geography and our application is EOBP enabled.

Issue - After updating the ownership for alternate hierarchy in Dec24, we are unable to copy the ownership to next year due to Entities in the following destination Scenario is Locked.

We are looking for an approach where we can copy the ownership to next year and perform consolidation without impacting our main hierarchy.

We also came across Copy Ownership Now Allows Copying Only Changed Ownership Data
