Percentage Formula Columns – Issue with Currency Formatting in Dashboards

How can we assign percentage values in formula columns when the base columns are Period and Year (not accounts)? Currently, when the currency format is set to millions, the percentage column is also converted to “M,” which is incorrect. Setting the currency to “Auto” doesn’t make sense either when it comes to sum up the rows.

Is there a recommended approach to correctly display percentages in formula columns without them being impacted by currency formatting?
