OIC Visual Builder future?

Yesterday we received an email from Oracle informing us that Visual Builder enabled through OIC (and Visual Builder provisioned as a standalone service through the OCI Console) will no longer be available to customers who do not already have an instance. Since we do have an OIC instance of Visual Builder we can continue using the service and provisioning additional instances, but this raises concerns over the future roadmap of Visual Builder outside Fusion. Is there an alternative web application development platform we should be planning to use instead?
