Support for Multiple Sourcing Organizations, Allocation and Rank - Inventory Replenishment Planning

Hi everyone,

we are implementing Inventory Replenishment Planning and we would like to clarify how sourcing rules with multiple source organizations can be handled by Inventory Replenishment Planning.

Business Scenario:

We need to replenish a destination inventory organization (ORG B) from two or more different source inventory organizations at subinventory level (ORG A1, ORG A2).

Both sources are valid for the same item code and destination organization.

Based on the business scenario we may want to:

  1. Allocate the replenishment qty from the two or more sources (e.g. 60% from ORG A1, 40% from ORG A2).
  2. Define the sourcing rank, so that ORG A1 is the main source and ORG A2 is an alternative source.
