System allowing budget creation beyond and after project start and end date

Summary:Actual: System allows planning periods to be selected before the project start date and after the project end date when creating a budget/forecast. Data can be entered and saved against periods that fall outside the projects duration.

Expected: The system should restrict planning periods to dates that fall within the projects start date and end date.


Trying to enter budget at line level we can modify the dates and can choose date beyond proejct or task dates how to control this behaviour ? we are using accounting calendar in period profile option under financial plan
