Sorting of the resources in the project resource list by resource format

When we want to add a resource to a project or tsk as part of project budget/project forecast the resources for the relevant planning resource breakdown structure appear alphabetically. Is there an option to show grouped by resource format, e.g. first all event types, then all expenditure types then all jobs? That would be more logic than just alphabetical order.
