How to Derive Cost Center for Lease Accounting

Summary:

Our requirement to derive the Cost Center segment dynamically during Create Accounting for Lease Accounting.

Currently, the Cost Center is derived from the accounting combination associated with the Payment Template. However, the business requires the flexibility to specify a different Cost Center to be charged for an individual lease.

To support this requirement, we created a Custom Cost Center DFF at the Lease Details level. However, this DFF is not available as an accounting source under Manage Sources for Lease Accounting, and therefore it cannot be referenced in an SLA Account Rule.

Oracle's Lease Accounting implementation documentation includes Subledger Accounting as part of the Lease Accounting setup framework.
