GOP Requirement for Shelf-Life Based Allocation

Hello Team,

We have a requirement in Oracle GOP where order promising and allocation should consider remaining shelf life of inventory.

Example:

  • Customer A can be allocated inventory with as little as 2 months remaining shelf life.
  • Customer B must only receive inventory with a minimum of 12 months remaining shelf life.
  • During promising/allocation, GOP should automatically consider these customer-specific shelf-life requirements and allocate eligible inventory accordingly.

Our target architecture consists of Oracle Fusion Planning and GOP only. All master and transactional data (customers, inventory, orders, shelf-life attributes, etc.) will be collected from external source systems (EBS+ Another fusion instance) into Fusion (where GOP & Planning sits).

Howdy, Stranger!
