Need help to delete incorrect assignment record for an employee

Hello Experts,

We need guidance on correcting an employee record where an additional assignment was created in error.

Scenario:

• Employee has two active assignments:
  • E1318034 (correct assignment)
  • E1318034-2 (incorrectly created additional assignment)
• HR attempted to delete the incorrect assignment (E1318034-2) but received the following error:

"Payroll process results exist for this person. Details: The processes run for this person must be rolled back before you can complete the action."

Challenge:

• Payroll results have already been processed and the employee's paycheck has been generated.
• The Payroll team does not want to roll back the payroll process because it could impact completed payroll activities.
