Security via AOR: Setup Steps

Hi everyone,

A person in our organization needs HR Specialist-level access to our system. They should only see the people and related data for a specific location of one business unit.

I've attempted to setup security by AOR (Location) now in one of our development environments. See below:

• Created a custom Job Role, inheriting the top and all inherited roles from the predefined HR Specialist job role
• Created a Person Security Profile, secured by area of responsibility (scope of responsibility = Location)
  • Includes employees, contingent workers, nonworkers, and candidates with offers
• Add an AOR secured by Location to the person who needs the HR-specialist level access
