Role Request, Approval and Automatic Role Provisioning (Design for Role Assignment agent)

Hi Team,

Our business requirement is to enable employees to request additional HCM roles through a self-service interface. The request must be routed to designated approvers based on configured approval rules. Upon approval, the requested role must be assigned automatically to the employee's user account, without manual intervention by a security administrator.

We request Oracle Support to clarify the following:

1. Does Oracle Fusion HCM provide standard functionality for employee-initiated requests for additional application roles?
2. Can approval rules be configured specifically for HCM role assignment? If so, which approval framework and transaction should be used?

Can we setup approval rules for Security role assignments based on Role Assignment agent?
