We would like to investigate a planning behavior related to Order Release planning on a Buy Shipment, specifically regarding the optimization of carrier wait time. Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Scenario Description

In our test case, multiple Order Releases are planned on a single shipment. Our analysis focuses on the first pickup stop at the source location.

The relevant configuration is as follows:

  • Order Releases
    • Early Pickup Date: 20-Oct-2026 00:00:00
    • Late Delivery Date: 20-Oct-2026 23:59:00
  • First Stop – Source Location
    • A location calendar is associated with the location.
    • The calendar defines the time windows during which LOAD and RECEIVE activities can be performed, from 07:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
