Communicate Purchasing Document: Are migrated (FBDI) and Closed / Closed for Receiving POs picked up
in Purchasing
Hi all,
We are planning to schedule the Communicate Purchasing Document process with Document Selection = New and Changed. The documentation says these values pick up documents “that weren’t communicated since approval”, but it doesn’t mention PO closure status or how imported POs are treated.
Questions:
- Are POs imported with Communicate Orders = No treated as “not communicated since approval”? Will they be picked up and sent to suppliers the first time the process runs with New or New and Changed?
- Does the process exclude POs whose status is Closed, Closed for Receiving, Closed for Invoicing or Finally Closed? Or is closure status ignored and only the communication status checked?
