How can we allow Line Managers access to Pending Worker Personal Information

We have ask for a Line Manager of a Pending Workers Demographic Info section to update a DFF " Visually identified **** at birth" field. Is this possible? As I understand out of box no as this is sensitive data, but is it possible?
