How to Apply Data Security To HCM Base Tables like CMP_SALARY, etc

Hi Team,

We are having a role called Implementation Expert. This role has access to almost all Data in our lower and PROD instances. This role will be given to the Implementation partners, Support team, BAU team and developers who manage the system. It has access to configuring all the objects, data loading, HCM extracts, Reports, Data Models, OTBI, Integrations, Compensation, etc.

The people having this role, either implements new requirements or handles the troubleshooting and issue fixes on BAU support tickets.

Problem Statement: The issue is, we have two lower pods Dev1 and Dev3. Dev1 - Masked Data including names and Salary; Dev3 - Unmasked copy of PROD. The problem is with the Dev3 where these Implementation experts can search and see all confidential data like - Personal details, Compensation, Salary, Performance data, etc.
