Mobile Inventory Barcode Scanning

Summary:

We are using Oracle Fusion Mobile Inventory and have a question regarding barcode scanning.

  • Is it expected behavior that a single barcode cannot populate fields across multiple screens/pages (Item, Subinventory, Locator, Serial Number)?
  • Is there any supported configuration or workaround to scan and populate Item + Subinventory + Locator + Serial Number in a single scan?
  • For Subinventory Transfer, Miscellaneous Issue, and Miscellaneous Receipt transactions, what barcode approach does Oracle recommend?

Currently, item barcode scanning is working successfully in our environment.
