ARCS Balance Load Failure During "Loading Balances" Stage -Reconciliation Reopening

We are investigating unexpected reconciliation reopenings in ARCS and would like clarification on system behavior when a Balance Load fails during the Loading Balances phase.
Observed Scenario:
Balance Load Type: ERP_GL
Load Mode: Snapshot
Location: ERP_GL_Load
Staging: Completed Successfully
Loading Balances: Failed
Post Process: Not Completed
as Result Data Load failed


Subsequently, the next scheduled balance load completed successfully and showed a significant number of deleted balances.
From the subsequent successful load is below Result
Staging: Completed ✅
Loading Balances: Completed ✅
Post Process: Completed ✅
Result:
Deleted Balances: 906
Unchanged Balances: 240
Merged Balances: 0

Questions
When a Balance Load fails after Staging has completed but during Loading Balances, does ARCS roll back all balance updates, or can some balances already processed remain updated in the system?
