Oracle is deprecating password-based authentication for Oracle Fusion REST and SOAP services.

Summary:

Oracle just released the following announcement:

Deadline Complete the migration before March 31, 2027.
Affects REST and SOAP integrations that authenticate to Fusion Applications with a username and
password.
Action Migrate to a supported token-based authentication method.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

In Oracle EPM, Data Exchange uses username/password to connect to Fusion. Will the OOTB Fusion connection be updated to enable token based connections? Also, what about the Connections option to connect to "Other Web Service Provider". Will those be updated to allow token based connections or are we expected to figure out some work-around for REST and SOAP connections from Groovy based calcs?

Howdy, Stranger!
