How to default item master organization for new item creation in Redwood

Summary:

Our client only has one item master organization defined in Oracle. In the classic UI, when they select Create Item, the item master organization automatically populates. In Redwood now, the user is forced to select the organization from the dropdown when there is only one organization available. Is it possible to have the organization default in Redwood the way it did in the classic pages?
