Oracle Fusion HCM: How to Configure a Global CEO Auto-Approval Rule Across All Workflows?

Hi Everyone,

We have a business requirement in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM where the CEO should automatically approve a transaction whenever the CEO-specific rule is met, bypassing all other approval conditions and approvers configured for that workflow.

Currently, we have more than 50 workflows configured, with an average of approximately 15 approval rules in each workflow.

We would like to implement this requirement in a centralized manner without modifying each individual workflow and its existing rules, as this would involve significant configuration and ongoing maintenance.

Business Requirement:

  • When the CEO-specific condition is met, the transaction should be automatically approved. All other approval rules and approver conditions for that transaction should be bypassed.
