EDM Subscription Alt Assignee Issue

We removed a service account user from a group and it broke all subscriptions using the group as an alternate assignee(s).

In our example, we use a group called Master Approvers for many of our subscription Alternate Assignee(s). We removed a user EPM Integrations from this group and our subscriptions failed. The error message on the subscription tab of the viewpoint is "Assignee 'EPM Integrations' must have at least Participant (Write) permission on viewpoint 'SYS_DEPT (PSFT)'."

We fixed this issue by adding a Default Assignee and then removing the Default Assignee (our Default Assignee is blank; we use Alternate Assignees only) and then the error message is removed and we can then save and the issue is resolved. I believe there is some sync issue where EDM sniffs the list of the assignees to ensure they have access to make changes (write) to the viewpoint. However, when a user is removed in a group, it continues to inappropriately review that user's access unless you force it to reevaluate the list by changing the assignee.
