AI Assist buttons not visible in performance documents after VBS configuration

Hello,

I’m configuring AI Assist for manager comments in Redwood performance documents. In Visual Builder Studio, I copied the built-in Default rule into an extension rule named AI_RULE and set Show All AI Assist Buttons for Manager Provided Evaluation Comments, along with the relevant individual manager AI Assist properties, to true. The rule shows “This rule is always applied.” However, the AI Assist buttons do not appear in either Debug or Live view in VBS.

Could you advise why the AI Assist buttons are not appearing and what I should check next? In particular, should I verify the page or rule set being edited, the manager evaluation task and document assignment, my permissions, or the availability of performance templates and review periods?
