Best Practice - Deleting HR Help Desk Requests

Summary: We are looking for best practices for enabling the auto-deletion of HR Help Desk requests.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information): We currently do not delete any HR Help Desk requests, and have the following as Administrator Profile Options:

ORA_SVC_DELETE_CLOSED_HRHD_ENABLED = No

SVC_HRHD_IN_RESOLVED_DAYS = 5

SVC_HRHD_IN_WAITING_DAYS = 120

SVC_HRHD_AUTO_CLOSED_STATUS_CD = Closed

SVC_HRHD_AUTO_RESOLVED_STATUS_CD = Resolved

ORA_SVC_CLOSED_HRHD_RETENTION_DAYS = N/A

SVC_HRHD_IN_DELETED_DAYS = 1

The reason we ask for best practices for deletion is because we don't want to affect the way our upcoming AI functionality will work (Summarize Request, Resolution Assist, Employee Help Desk Self Service Assistant AI Agent). If these AI features require old HR Help Desk requests to reference, wouldn't activating the delete function affect this? I am aware that there is a soft delete (delete) and a hard delete (purge) too. Would enabling the soft delete only help our AI functionality still work properly/great?

Howdy, Stranger!
